In six days we'll drive from the pine-forested capital of Gangtok up to the border villages of Lachen, then higher still to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake — one of the highest lakes on earth. Expect momo houses, prayer flags, and a Kanchenjunga sunrise you'll remember for years.

Bagdogra → Gangtok
Airport pickup, 4h scenic drive up to Gangtok. Evening walk on MG Marg. Group welcome dinner.

Gangtok — Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Day trip to Tsomgo Lake (3,780m) and the shrine of Baba Harbhajan Singh. Afternoon at Rumtek Monastery.

Gangtok → Lachen
Long, spectacular drive north along the Teesta. Cross seven waterfalls. Reach Lachen village by evening. Homestay stay.

Lachen → Gurudongmar → Lachen
Alpine start (4am). Reach the sacred Gurudongmar Lake at sunrise. Return via Thangu Valley. Rest evening.

Lachen → Gangtok
Drive back to Gangtok. Free afternoon for cafés, monasteries, or a massage. Farewell dinner.

Depart · Gangtok → Bagdogra
Morning departure to Bagdogra. Airport drops.
